Research address create decorative units which is taken from the Mamluke Epoch and to benefit from it to enrich the decoration of the printed home clothing introduction.
Introduction:
Home clothing considers a clear evidence woman’s elegancy it express her intelligence & fine taste and the ability to chose so the woman should understand the basis and the roles that should be available to her.
As history is on important source of inspiration to the designer so this study includes quotations from the artistic features and decoration elements of a historical era which is the Mamluke Epoch and that by studding and analyzing it from the artistic and historical sides and trying to shape this study includes seven chapters.
First chapter : research theoretical frame:

Second Chapter: the Mamluke Epoch :
The chapter dealt with a detailed study of the Mamloic age as it dealt with the birth of the Islamic art and its features & as it dealt with the history of the Mamluke Epoch and the decoration elements in it such as the plant decoration, engineering decoration, writhes decoration, human decoration, animal and birds decoration and the Mamlocian signs decoration evidenced by real photos.
Chapter Three: Practical arts in the Mamluke Epoch In this chapter the study dealt with the practical and decoration arts in the Mamluke Epoch ;such as (Carpets, Textiles – pottery and porcelain – glass- metal- wood and ivory graving) and this evidenced by a historical photos.
Chapter fore: Textiles and Clothes in the Mamluke Epoch
The researcher in this chapter follows the historical sequence of clothes through different eras such as the clothing, of the pharaohs age , the Greece age, The Roman age, Bizant and Christian age then the clothes in the Islamic age for men, women, children and the integrate clothes the researcher went to the decoration elements on clothes of the Mamlocian age and So the textiles and its development through the ages and the kinds of textile in the Mamlocian age, Zrokhan textiles, Elebing textiles demotic textile, atlasg textile, Then the researcher went to the Centers of textile industry in the Mamluke Epoch and the practical styles in clothes decoration like printing – tincturing- embroidery , decoration with added textile decoration with extended link – decoration with gold decoration by overlapping.
Fifth Chapter: Home Clothing :
The researches dealt in this chapter with a detailed study of the conception of home clothing, classified (nightgown , pajamas, robe and gallabia) with a explaining each on and the cloth which is suitable for home clothing as (silk, wool , cotton , industrial cloth, mixed industrial cloth) then the researcher went to the elements that affect the performance of home clothing which is comfort and good looking and the conditions that should be available in home clothing and the basis of closing the shape of the suitable design the body such as (the person with body & the person with short and thin body, the person with a huge and tall, the person with a tall and this body, the person with tight shoulder , the person with wide shoulder , the person with paunch).
Six Chapter: Designing , elements of shaping and the Creative stage:
This chapter deal with the conception of decoration and decoration designing so the elements of decoration designing so the elements of decoration designing ( paint , line , shape and land – color – touch and material) So the rules of decoration designing (balancing – unity – varying - fitting – harmony) .
Then the study moved to decoration modifying and its basis and the specifics that should be followed in designing .
The experimental stages and the practical application , the creative stage.
The researcher dealt after that with the created designing works which supposed to be printed on the home clothing (robe – pajamas, galabia) and these are 9 basic design and 67 minor design derived from them.
Chapter Seven: Experimental stage:
The researcher dealt in this chapter with the calculation results and its analysis – printing by heating transportation.
The applied designing samples results and recommendations- the scientific resources of the research – annexes (conclusion – arbiters form- annex (2) – verifying from annex (3) - arbiters names) there summary and an extraction in Arabic and English language)
