Abstract
Complementary medicine is attributed to a set of regulations therapeutic and diagnostic, which are found in abundance outside the scope of health care organizations, traditional, and although it has become a characteristic increase in the practice of health care, but that there are still mingling about the concept and developed and existing systems AND its relationship to traditional medicine. - In the eighties and Sbaanat provided these systems as an alternative to traditional health care, and so became known as alternative medicine. And over the years changed from being an utter supplementary explains the relationship between traditional care and non-traditional to a range of alternative systems for conventional care. - A large number of Americans looking for alternatives to traditional medicine to treat various diseases and on this in 1997 approved 42.1% of those who participated in a national survey that they are in during this year have used the method of at least one of 16 the way of alternative treatment in return 33.8% in 1990. And this is an indication that the research in the field of systems and alternative medicine is increasing in recent times and it has become necessary to know and codify these systems and methods of use in the treatment of many diseases and the benefits and side effects of these systems. And has been the use of alternative medicine in many diseases and fields and this receiving this message light on the use of some systems of alternative medicine in the field of psychiatry and its impact on many diseases, psychiatry, such as depression, | diseases, anxiety and tension, insomnia and chronic fatigue . That many of the systems of alternative medicine still did not take its place in the areas of application and research in the Arab Mntaqtna it to be my hope that the modest effort expended in this letter is a step in the knowledge of ways to use alternative medicine to treat some diseases of psychiatry. And has been the division of this research to the introduction and four chapters, the first dealt with the talk about acupuncture and places and put them and their uses, and the second from the use of medicinal herbs in the treatment of some mental illnesses, and the third for a massage and some of its uses in psychiatry, and the fourth consists of five sections of the five systems of alternative medicine and its applications in some psychiatric diseases. Introduction: reviewing the concept and the types of alternative medicine and the factors leading to lack of use. Chapter One: reviewed the concept of acupuncture and the beginning of the use and some important points that are placed where these needles to treat certain mental illnesses such as depression and Alzheimer’s disease. Chapter II: reviewed by some medicinal herbs and how to use them and some of its side effects and dosing specific to treat some psychiatric such as anxiety and tension. Chapter III: Massage and reviewed the concept and some of the types and used in the treatment of some diseases such as insomnia psychiatry. Chapter Four: This chapter is divided into six sections: - Part I talking about the use of certain types of oils with pungent odors either through massage or other methods, such as inhalation and used in the treatment of some mental illnesses. - The second and probably more talking about the treatment the disease (Alhomiobathe) and its concept and its applications in psychiatry. - And the third is talking about diets and how they are used in the treatment of some mental illnesses. - And the fourth speaks of light and use Ktb alternative for the treatment of some diseases of psychiatry. - V is talking about music and used in psychiatry.
