Abstract

In this thesis consists of five chapters : Chapter 0 ”Introduction” consists of five sections, Chapter I ”New characterizations of s-closed spaces” consists of three sections, Chapter II ”Functions with α-closed graphs and pre-closed graphs” consists of two sections, Chapter III ”Strong compactness” consists of four sections, Chapter IV ”Characterizations of compactness and paracompactness” consists of four sections.
