المستخلص

This study aimed to explore the social responsibility of public relations departments in Kuwaiti first-class sports clubs and their relation to achieving societal goals. It included a theoretical framework of the topic, previous scholarly literature in the field, research methodology and tools, study results, and their discussion in light of the findings of several previous studies. The study utilized a survey method applied to 60 individuals and included research tools and a questionnaire covering various aspects providing data on the social responsibility of public relations departments in Kuwaiti first-class sports clubs and their relation to achieving societal goals. The study reached several key findings, including:-The results revealed a consensus among all public relations practitioners who praised the absence of independent public relations management in the organizational structure of the clubs they work for.-Respondents affirmed that the art of dealing with sports audiences and gaining their trust, love, and support, as well as winning the satisfaction of sports club audiences through sincere treatment, was of great concern to many respondents. This concept is considered one of the most important contemporary concepts in public relations practices in contemporary administrations, including sports clubs in Kuwait.-The results indicated that most public relations practitioners do not fully grasp the social responsibility of sports clubs, which describes the social, humanitarian, and charitable role they play in society, except for very few groups. This necessitates that clubs and their administrations provide their practitioners with the training and qualification to perform such roles in their duties and understand various concepts of social responsibility.
