The city of Tlemcen was one of the most important cities of Morocco in the era of the Bani Merin, and it was invaded by them many times, it was in the marinid era under the control of the Bani Zian, and this led to the turmoil of its conditions and the migration of many of its sons and scholars to the city of Fez, the capital of the marinid state. On the other hand, the city of Fez, the capital of the Islamic world in Morocco at that time, was the subject of study, as its schools and mosques were considered large universities that attracted many scholars and scientists, as well as the interest of the Beni mirin Sultans themselves in science and scientists, encouraging them and attracting many of them to their civilization, and of course they were headed by the Talmudic scholars, and this is what we will explain in this study about the role of the Talmudists in the city of Fez after their migration to it. In his study, the researcher dealt with the role of the tlemcenians in the political, social and scientific life in the Maghreb in the period of the eighth and ninth hijri centuries, which is consistent with our study in some points related to the marinid era and in the period of the eighth century only. As for the study, it differs from our study spatially and spatially, our study deals spatially with the study of the telmessans in Fez in the marinid era from the seventh century AH to the ninth century AH, and therefore it differs spatially and temporally from our topic, and our study is unique in dealing with the economic role of telmessan scientists, while this was not mentioned during that study.
