The current study aimed to identify the reality of activating the educational roles of technological development centers in the light of the philosophy of digital green education, through a careful environmental analysis of these centers, and then to identify the most important points of strength and weakness, as well as the most important challenges they face, and the most important opportunities available to them in order to achieve it.
The study used the descriptive method, using the questionnaire that was prepared and applied to a sample of development specialists in the development centers in the Directorate and the various departments of Sohag Governorate, where they numbered (50) technological development specialists, as well as a sample of teachers in pre-university education schools (primary - preparatory - secondary).in some different educational departments in Sohag Governorate; To find out the reality of the educational roles of the development centers in the light of the philosophy of digital green education from their point of view..
The theoretical study reached a set of results, the most important of which are; It is necessary to keep pace with the global scientific and technological development, and the trend towards green environmental sustainability and digital transformation in educational institutions; It has become imperative to confront this reality by achieving technological development effectively in pre-university education. By activating the roles of technology development centers in light of the philosophy of digital green education; As it is considered a source for all forms of technological and scientific development, which makes the educational system keep pace with global progress and change and makes it capable of excellence and competition globally.
The results of the field study (from the point of view of the study sample) showed that the reality of activating the educational roles of the technological development centers in Sohag Governorate in light of the philosophy of digital green education is weak, especially in the primary stage. and that there is a set of strengths in it; Especially in secondary education, the development centers in the Directorate and the various educational departments in Sohag Governorate; However, it is weak in primary education, so it had to be improved. There is also a set of weaknesses that prevent it from playing these roles that need to be addressed. In addition, the chances of activating these roles were weak. It must be supported, and there are also external challenges and threats facing its activation of these educational roles to a very large extent. It must be overcome.
These previous results gave the researcher a specific picture of the reality of activating the educational roles of the technological development centers in the light of the philosophy of digital green education in Sohag Governorate. Its starting points - its sources of construction - its objectives - its beneficiaries - steps to build it - requirements for its achievement - guarantees of its success.
