تناولت في هذا البحث أحد أهم وأبرز الشخصيات الحديثة والمعاصرة ،السدير ماكنتاير (١٩٢٩- )والذي ينتمي إلي غلاسكو باسكتلندا ،وسبب اختيار هذه الشخصية علي الآخرين ،لأن السمة الأكثر اتساقًا وتمييزًا لعمل ماكنتاير هي كراهيته للعالم الرأسمالي الليبرالي الحديث إنه يعتقد أن الفلسفة الحديثة والحياة الحديثة تتميزان بغياب أي قانون أخلاقي متماسك وأن الغالبية العظمي من الأفراد الذين يعيشون في هذا العالم يفتقرون إلي:
١-إحساس ذي معني بالهدف في حياتهم.
٢-يفتقرون أيضًا إلي أي مجتمع حقيقي.
وأنه يعتمد علي المثل الأعلي لأرسطو لاقتراح طريقه مختلفة للحياة يعمل فيها الناس معًا في مجتمعات سياسية حقيقية لاكتساب الفضائل ،وأنه يجب الحفاظ علي أسلوب الحياة هذا في المجتمعات الصغيرة،وأنه هنا لا يقترح علينا مجرد العبث بأطراف المجتمع الرأسمالي الليبرالي ،وإنما هدفه هو تحويلها جذريا،لأنه يختتم في نهايه كتابه ”بعد الفضيلة ”بتحذير حول العصور المظلمة الجديدة التي تحل بنا، وأن معظم الذين ولدوا في هذه المجتمعات يرون أنها طبيعية وأنها سليمة في الأساس وبالتالي لا يمكن إقناعهم بسهولة.
لقد اعتمدت في هذه الدراسة علي الطرق الآتية:
التحليل المقارن مع استخدام المنهج النقدي كلما دعت الضرورةإلي ذلك ،والسبب في اختياري لهذه الأساليب علي الآخرين يرجع إلي طبيعة هذه الدراسة التي تتطلب عرضًا وتحليلًاللأسلوب النقديوذلك من خلال الآراء والنظريات والأفكار التي قالها ماكنتاير (موضوع الدراسة).وهذا مقارنة بمن سبقه ومن تبعه،ولتوضيح مدي تأثره بها عندما قال تلك الآراء ،وتداخل الأفكار والتصورات والمقارنات وتداخلها مما أدي إلي اقتفاء أثر التاريخ.
تكمن مشكلة هذا البحث في الإجابة عن الأسئلة الآتية:
١-ما أهم القضايا التي تناولها ماكنتاير بالبحث والدراسة ؟
٢-هل تأثرالسدير ماكنتاير في الآراء التي قال بها؟أم أنه كان عقلانيًا في صياغته لهذه الآراء ؟
٣-كيف حاول ماكنتاير الانتقال إلي السياسة الإنسانية عابرا من خلال الفضيلة الأرسطية والتوماوية في مقابل الرأسمالية والليبرالية ؟
٤-هل الفلسفة السياسية هي أساس الفلسفة الأخلاقية أم العكس ؟
٥-ما مكانة الفلسفة السياسية عند السديرماكنتاير؟
٦-كيف يمكننا الجمع بين التنوير والفلسفة السياسية في فلسفة ماكنتاير ؟
٧-هل إخفاق الحداثة في نظرالسدير ماكنتاير هي الأساس السياسي لرفضه لها؟
يتكون هذا البحث من مقدمة وأربعة فصول وخاتمة:
أمًا عن المقدمة فقد قدمت الباحثة موضوع بحثها وأوضحت أهميته ووضحت الطريقة المستخدمة في إعداده وكذلك الأسئلة الموجهه للدراسة.
In this research, I dealt with one of the most important and prominent modern and contemporary figures, Alasdair Macintyre (1929- ), who belongs to Glasgow, Scotland, and the reason for choosing this character over others, because the most consistent and distinctive feature of Macintyre’s work is his hatred of the modern liberal capitalist world. He believes that modern philosophy and modern life are characterized by the absence of any coherent moral code and that the vast majority of individuals living in this world lack to:
1. A meaningful sense of purpose in their lives.
2.They also lack any real society.
And that he relies on Aristotle’s ideal to propose a different way of life in which people work together in real political societies to acquire virtues, that this way of life must be maintained in small societies, and that here he does not suggest that we merely tamper with the edges of liberal capitalist society, but his goal is to radically transform them, because he concludes at the end of his book ”After Virtue” with a warning about the new dark ages that befall us, and that most of those born in these societies see that they are natural and that they are basically healthy and therefore not They can be easily convinced.
In this study, I have adopted the following methods:
Comparative analysis with the use of the critical approach whenever necessary, and the reason for my choice of these methods over others is due to the nature of this study, which requires presentation and analysis of the critical method through the opinions, theories and ideas said by Alasdair Macintyre (the subject of the study).This compares with his predecessors and successors, and to illustrate how much he was influenced by them when he spoke those views. The overlapping of ideas, perceptions and comparisons has led to a historical retrace.
The problem of this research lies in answering the following questions:
1- What are the most important issues addressed by Alasdair Macintyre in research and study?
2.Was Alasdair Macintyre influenced by his views, or was he rational in formulating these views?
3. How did Alasdair Macintyre attempt to transition to humanist politics through Aristotelian and Thomasvirtue as opposed to capitalism and liberalism?
4. Is political philosophy the basis of moral philosophy or vice versa?
5. What is the place of political philosophy in Alasdair Macintyre?
6.How can we combine Enlightenment and political philosophy in Macintyre’s philosophy?
7. Is the failure of modernity in Macintyre’s view the political basis for his rejection of it?
This research consists of an introduction, four chapters and a conclusion:
As for the introduction, the researcher presented the subject of her research and explained its importance and clarified the method used in its preparation as well as the questions directed to the study.
As for the first chapter, entitled ”Alasdair Macintyre: His Life and Writings”, includes two sections:
The first topic is entitled: His life and intellectual development.
As for the second section is entitled: his writings and the relationship between him and contemporary philosophers.
In this chapter, which is an introduction to the study of Alasdair Macintyre’s philosophy, the researcher tried to present the stages of his intellectual life, and the environment in which he grew up, explaining the impact of this environment on his religion and also on his philosophy
