The study aimed to identify talent management and institutional excellence in private schools in Sohag Governorate (a field study) by examining the reality of talent management practices in private schools in Sohag Governorate, the reality of achieving standards and dimensions of institutional excellence in private schools in Sohag Governorate, and the obstacles to achieving institutional excellence in private schools in light of the entrance Talent management: The study used the descriptive approach, and the study was applied to a sample of (450) principals, agents, and teachers in private schools in Sohag Governorate.
The study reached many results, the most important of which are:
:.- The school administration is keen to set specific criteria for discovering the talents of the teachers .
- Lack of interest of the school leadership to prepare a plan to attract talents from outside the school.
- Scarcity of opportunities for gifted teachers to manage their own projects within the framework of the regulations and laws of the school leadership.
- Lack of employee participation in decision-making and decision-making processes, and developing their skills to achieve institutional excellence.
- The lack of school leadership in presenting creative initiatives and ideas and spreading enthusiasm and the spirit of creativity and innovation.
- The school leadership’s commitment to professional ethical standards that contribute to the improvement and development of school work.
- Lack of job stability among private school principals.
- Lack of qualification of human competencies and poor suitability to achieve institutional excellence.
