Purpose : The aim of this study was to investigate the accuracy of implant impressions as influenced by different techniques and materials;closed versus open tray impression techniques using Addition Silicone, Polyether and Vinyl Siloxanether impression materials. Materials and Methods: Three impression materilas(Addition Silicone, Polyether and Vinyl Siloxanether) each used with two impression techniques( open and closed impression technique) with a total of 30 samples ( divided into two groups according to the technique and each group subdivided into three subgroups according to the impression material)were utilized to evaluate the accuracy and find the most accurate material and technique measuring the distance between a mandibular implant and two cross arch points. the distances were measured using travelling microscope
