Tools, two tools were developed by the researcher 1.Self-administered questionnairesheet to collect data including socio-demographic characteristics of students, students’ total knowledge about vulvovaginal infection and hygienic care of students during menstruation2. Self-reporting tool that included counting the number of females complains regarding their self-disclosure of symptoms of vulvovaginal infection. Results, the range & mean age of students under study were 15- 20,16.38±0.854years;32.6% of them reported having symptoms of vulvovaginal infection and 100% of them had unsatisfactory knowledge score level about vulvovaginal infection during the 1st time of assessment but after the teaching session was carried out the vast majority of students had satisfactory knowledge score level as showed during the 2nd , the 3rd, the 4th, and the 5th assessment. There was statistical significant positive correlation between level of knowledge (satisfactory level) and self-reporting of symptoms of vulvovaginal infection during the second assessment(p= 0.010).Conclusion, there was statistical significant positive correlation between level of knowledge (satisfactory level) and self-reporting of symptoms of vulvovaginal infection during the second assessment, cheesy white vaginal discharge and itching in the external genital organs were the most common complains among girls who made self-report. Recommendations, The current study recommended raising the role of school health nurse for early detection of that type of discomfort and others among adolescent girls especially at that early stage of puberty
