This current study aimed to prepare a training program to improve the reading comprehension of students with difficulties learning Arabic in the primary stage, and to reveal its effectiveness, and its impact on some of their social skills. The study sample consisted of (30) male and female students from the fifth grade of the primary school with difficulties in learning the Arabic language, divided into two groups; An experimental group, which includes (15) male and female students; And a control group, which includes (15) male and female students, Those between the ages of (10-11) years. The study tools included the John Raven successive matrices test, the family economic and social level scale, the Fathi Al-Zayyat battery for diagnosing general learning difficulties, the scale for diagnosing Arabic language learning difficulties for the primary stage, the reading comprehension skills test for students with Arabic language learning difficulties, social skills scale, and a training program. To improve reading comprehension. The results of the study revealed the effectiveness of the training program to improve reading comprehension and its impact on some social skills of students with difficulties learning Arabic in the primary stage, and its effectiveness continued after a period of application.
