Malik is considered the imam of the people of the Hijaz in his era, and to him the jurisprudence of Madinah ends, and scholars have unanimously agreed on his faithfulness, religion and piety. And Abd al-Rahman bin Mahdi said: I have never seen anyone who has a complete mind and is more devout than Malik. All the imams testified to him with the merit until they said: No fatwa and the owner of it in Medina. Scholars and students of knowledge from every country intended it to take from it. Therefore, his doctrine spread in many countries at the hands of his disciples, who were taken from him. (Imam Malik was a dignified and noble man, there was nothing in his majesty, confusion, and no voice raised, and Malik did not speak except while he was in a purity in honor of the hadith. ”Sufyan ibn Ayyinah said,“ May God have mercy on him - Malik was not the most critical of men. And it seems from that saying that he paid attention to the hadith, for he used to propose the hadith if he had doubts about him, which made the people of the East and the West see him as trustworthy, and he combined between jurisprudence and narration, he has a well-known doctrine in jurisprudence that the Islamic nation received with acceptance, which is the Maliki school, and he filled His doctrine in the countries of the Maghreb and Andalusia, and spread in Egypt, some of the Levant, Yemen, Sudan, and Iraq. (On the authority of Mu’in bin Issa, on the authority of Zuhair al-Tamimi, he said: Abdullah bin Omar, on the authority of Saeed bin Hind, on the authority of Abu Musa al-Ash’ari, said: The Messenger of God said: “People from the East and the West go out to seek knowledge, and they will not find a more knowledgeable scholar than the world of Medina. And it was said about this hadith: (Weak: it includes the discontinuity between Saeed bin Abi Hind and Abu Musa Al-Ash’ari). Was interpreted Alhdbut Sufyan bin Uyaynah says: (narrated from Ibn Uyaynah, he said: I used to say: It is Saeed bin Musayyib, so I said it was in his time Suleiman bin left, and Salim bin Abdullah, and others. Then today I say: It is the owner, not It has a counterpart in the city. Al-Dhahabi said in the reminder of the preservation: (It has been agreed upon by the owner of virtues that I have taught it, I gathered to others: one of them is longevity and the loudness of the narration, the second of which is the keen mind, understanding and broad knowledge, and the third is the agreement of the imams that it is a valid argument for the narration, and the fourth of it unites them on his religion, justice and followers of the Sunnah, and the fifth is his advance. In jurisprudence, fatwa, and the validity of its rules, he lived eighty-six years, and it was said that he was born in the year ninety-six.
