This study aims to identify the societal vision of infertility in the Egyptian society through the following ;Try to detect the social and psychological problems suffered by the couple as a result of non-childbearing or one of them.Identify the economic problems and expenses incurred by the infertile couple as a result of infertility.To identify the extent of difference in the respondents’ vision of ways to treat infertility, as well as the difference in popular practices in the treatment of infertility. where the study relied on some of the approaches are: the ”descriptive” approach and the comparative approach, and the quantitative method was used to integrate with the qualitative method. As for the tools of the study: a questionnaire, and a guide of the case study. A conceptual frame work was put, and on the light of it the subject of the study can be handled through analyzing and examining what have been collected of the field material. This frame work has included a number of theories represented in : World view Theory, The Role Theory. As for the study community, the study has been conducted on two local communities, one of them is a traditional village (Al-Sha’ala village), and the other a civilized village (Meet Ghorab village), which belongs to Sinbillawain center / Dakahlia governorate.
