Abstract

This research shows the effects of data visualization on the decision making process and present how to make it easy by associating it with the implementation of visualization. Technology is one of the key factors for economic growth and for enhancing competitiveness in industry that is why it is not strange that companies have for decades intervened actively in the economy designing and implementing policies that focus on a more dynamic innovation environment .This research attaining to effective visualizing a set of indicators where many approaches and techniques can be used to analyze strategic cases in the strategic management process. Among them, SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), PESTEL analysis (Political, Economic, Technical, Social, Environmental, Legal) and Porter’s five forces which help in the decision making process.
Big data can be defined as data which requires latest technologies other than the traditional tools and techniques to handle it, due to its unstructured nature. Huge volume, various varieties and high velocity create lots of other challenges and issues regarding its management and processing. Big data is growing at an exponential rate so it becomes important to develop new technologies to deal with it. This research also covers the leading tools and technologies for big data storage, processing and visualization.
Unstructured data represent the greatest proportion of available data now a days and the greatest opportunity for take advantage of big data. It is rated that 90% of the world‘s data is unstructured which the research will exploit it by aggregate and display it in visualization form to facilitate the decision making process.
