Abstract

Employees are the key resources of an organization Nurse’s empowerment is a strategy and philosophy that enables them to make decisions about their jobs helps them own their work and take responsibility for their results and serve customres at the level of the organization where the customer interface exists>
For the development of an organization it is necessary to make them fell good and empowered employees is the dream of every organization So; building strong empowerment among organizational employees plays an important role in reducing delays and displacement>
It can also increase employee effciency, job stisfaction, employees’ mental freshness and manifesting both organizational admirable targets and personal goals.
This study aimed to identify the level of structural and psychological empowerment among staff nurses in Minia University hospital determine the level of job satisfaction among staff nurses in Minia University hospital and find the relationship between empowerment and job satisfaction among staff nurses in Minia University Hospital.
A descriptive correlational research design was used.
The study was conducted at Minia University Hospital.
It composed from four floors All Hospital units werw included in the study.
This hospital is generalized in caring all specialties; it provide free and economic services through different deparment and units.
The subjects of the sample consisted of all available staff nurses working in all units during the period of data collection.
Their tota number is 300 nurses who working full time and have a minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
