Abstract
This study is designed to investigate the genetic behaviour of some economic characters in ( Hordieum Vulgare L. ) and study the stability of the genotypes under different saline treatments . The plant breeders found that it is possible to improve the genetic tolerance of barley cultivars to salinity and there by increase the productivity of marginal saline soils.
