Abstract
the current work was undertaken for three purposes. The first is to display some types of soil degradation through some state indicators that reflect the condition of degraded soils such as compaction, Stalinization, codification, and water logging. The second is to formulate a mineralogical indicator of soil health that could contribute to the so-called minimum data se potential hazard associated with slinity salinity and subsequent sodicity was assessed in terms of particle siz effect utilizing x-ray diffrraction as an instrumental tool the the third is to explore to wha exent swift remedial action could succeed to encompass and mollify hazardous effects of degradation .
