Abstract
Occupationsl accidents are a daily occurrence in work places that cannot be anticipated unlike occupational diseases.misr shebin el-kom spinning and weaving company is one of the largest companies for cotton spinning and weaving in egypt .the aim of this study is to identify accidents in this company in the period from 1988-1992 to investigate possiple available human and environmental factors contributed in accedent occurrence in order to suggest a plan for its prevention .the available accident records at the industrial health and safety unit of the company were collected and studied throughly .
