Abstract
The aim of this work is to evaluate the subject of chest wall swellings, both the inflammatory and neo-plartic ones. Evaluation was made as for as the foll¬owing points were concerned, classification, aetiology incidence, pathology, treatment, compldi and follow up.
The present study included a retrospective part, carried out upon patients admitted to the cardio-thoracic surgery unit -Alexan dri a university hospital from the beginiag of 1975 till the end of 1978, and a prospective part carried out upon patients admitted to the same unit from the begining of 1979 till the end of June 1979.
