Abstract
The aim of this study is to evaluate and compare the
role of US, CT and MRI in characterization of the adrenal
lesions .The present study was carried out on 45 patients; 24 males and 21
females. Their ages ranged from 1.5 to 70 years. They were referred from
Oncology,Pediatric, General Surgery, Cardiology and Internal Medicine
Departments, Zagazig University Hospitals in the period from January to
June 2003, The histopathologic diagnosis was 16 cases of metastases, 6
cases of neuroblastoma, 6 cases of lymphoma,S cases of adenoma, 4
cases of carcinoma, 3 cases of pheochromocytoma, 2 cases of cavernous
lymphangioma, 2 cases of cortical hyperplasia and I case of
myelolipoma
