Abstract
This investigation was conducted for the goal of the production virus free garlic ”seeds”. The mite E. tulipae K. was recorded to be present on garlic for the first time in Egypt and this was in 1973 in the horticultural experiment station at sids.
as E. tulipae K. is known to be the transmitting vector of the garlic virus it was logic to start with studying the effect of different acaricides applied with different methods in order to control the mite E. tulipae K.
