Abstract This work is conducted to investigate the effects of two different levels of naphthalene acid (NAA); giblerellic qcid (GA3) and ndimethyi amina succinamic acid (Bgg5) on growth-vigour, carbohydrat contents, nitrogenous constituents and the content of certain mineral elements of tomato plants. A preliminary experiment is carried out to find the suitable low and high concentrations for each chemical to be used for soaking the seeds of tomato before gemminafion. A historical review is given on the effect of NAA, BA3 and BGG5 on the growth and chemical compasition of plants in general and tomato plants in particular. |
