Abstract Reviewing the literature. it has been noticed that the work done the surface properties and hydration of CdO is limited. the adsorption of cyclohexane, carbon tetrachloride and methy1 a1coho1 vapour has been measured at 35c on the parent materia1, asrystalline specimen of cadmium hydroxide, and on its decomposition products obtained by dehydration at temperatures ranging from room temperature up to 500c. the effect of heating has been examined only in the case of cyclohexane adsorption. the adsorption is physical in nature. |
