Ef f e c t of foliar sprays wi th Pinolene (1%an d 2%) on yield, f r u i t q u a l i t y , and leaf nutrient elements content Two orange varieties were used namely; Washizgton navel and. Shamouti, TVVOs praying d a t e s were a l s o used f o r both Tecmangam and Pinolenc treatments, The results obtained i n t h i s iavestigation could be summarized i n the following points: 1- In 1974 and 1975 seasons, f o r Washingtan navel orange and, i n 1975 season, for Shamouti orange, foliar application with Tecmangam, (2000 and 4000 pprn) increased the yield, during the .t;tvo spraying dates; In 1974, Tacrnangm sprays did not affect the yield of Shamouti orange during the two spraying dates, 2- Foliar sprays with Tecmangam at concentrations of 2000 and 4000 ppm had no s i g n i f i c a n t e f f e c t on f r u i t dizmeter, f r u i t length and juice volume with a few excaptions. In 1974, the fruit diameter of Washingtor navel orange i n the 4000ppm o f Tecmangam and fm~itl e ngth o f Shamouti orange f o r both the 2000 and 4000 ppni treatments of Tecmangam increased when compared with the control, 3- Peel percentage did not affect with Teemar,gam sprays, except t h a t , i n 1975, the peel percentage of Washington navel f r u i t s decreased i n both Tecmangam treatments as compared w i t h the control. |
