Abstract Transesophageal echocardiography (T.E.E.) is an ineresting new techique providing a clear window for examination of cardiac anatomy and functions. This study is designed to measure accuracy and sensitivity of transesophageal echocardiography in visualisation and detection of lesions in proximal coronary arteries and thus in differentiation between ischaemic and dilated non-ischaemic cardiomyopathy. specially, this differentiation is difficult by other clinical methods & routine investingations . This study included 52 patients presented to cardiology department in Tanta University Hospital by manifestations of congestive Heart failure or angina pectoris. |
