Abstract
The disposition of rice straw is considered one of the most important problems, which the Egyptian farmer is suffered from it in the present time. According to the small economical value of rice straw, which was caused inadvertence the farmers for it, and using the burn for vacating the field to prepare the seedbed for next crops. The developed cutting unit was experimented in two successive seasons (summer 2002 and summer 2003) on two different sites, the first site was clay soil at Koom Elderby village AlMansoura Dakahlia Governorate. And the second site was loamy clay soil at AboKatafa village Beyala Kafer ElSheakh Governorate. All results confirm that the cutting straw unit was suitable for utilization the rice straw as organic manure direct in soil without more expenditure, futhermore prevention the environmental pollution resulting from straw burning.
