Abstract
A preliminary feeding study was made with Flemish Giant rabbit during sumrne1 time suing clove1 bay and a concentrate mixture containing 60 % barley and 4.0 % wheat bran. Expe1iments were done with 7 animals taken from the Experimental Station of .Animal Nutrition, Faculty of Agriculture, Giza, starting after weaning and at the age of 8 weeks up to 15 weeks. The starch value of the concentrate mixture was 71.6 % having s.5 % digestible protein, about half of the daily allowance of the dry matter was given from hay and the other half from concentrates, so from in hay that the starch value in the whole ration was 28 % Animals were weighed weekly at 8 A. M.
