Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate whether extending the duration of treatment with some chelators (EDTA, DDC, and BAL )for more than 5 days will alleviate the toxicity of kidney and liver induced by Cd or not. Male white rats (Wistar strain)weighing about 150 g were used as experimental animals. The animals were divided into nine (9)groups, the first three groups (1,2 and 3) consist of 5 animals each, while the rest 6 groups (4,5,6,7,8 and 9)consist of 20 rats each.
