Abstract This investigation was carried out during the period extended from (2002- 2008) on time series data on random cycles of broiler farm of 600 cycles to assess the effect of seasons, locality, housing system, year and breed within each of them on productive efficiency of broiler farms, with reference to the veterinary management including drugs cost, vaccines cost, disinfectant cost and veterinary supervision cost LE /100 broiler .Data were collected from different localities covering three main regions the first region include (Menofia, El Behaira, Gieza and Kaliobia), the second region include (Dakahlia, Gharbia and Damietta) and the third region include (Ismailia and Sharkia). The classification of these regions according to similarity in (type of food, system of management used) then data analyzed by different statistical methods as two way analysis of variance to determine the effect of (season , breed, locality, years, housing systems) on ( amount of food consumed. Cost of drug, vaccines, disinfectant, veterinary supervision, meat production, sold birds, marketing age, average weight) also, correlation method used to determine degree of relationship between various variables and regression method used to determine the best function for describing relationship between the production and the production resources. |
