Abstract

Because of the great economic importance of E.anncckei and T. urticae to various plant crop the evaluation of responses to various climatic factors namely temperature, relative humidity, photoperiod and light color has been become of indicate concern. Accordingly, laboratory experiments were designed to measure the effect of season.
Also the effect of photoperiod and light color on E.anneckei and T.uricae was measured.
Also the effect of some plant extracts and Abamcainon on the biology of E.anneckei and T.urticae was studied.
However, the obtained results could be summarized as follows :
1-Ecological and biological studies on E.anneckei mites :
1- Seasons different in their effect on the mite development and fecundity. According, hot season highly accelerated the incubation period and immature stages. Therefore, the incubation period wearied from 4.20 to 9.55 days. The active larval protonymphal , deutonymphal and total period immature stages changed from 1.20, 1.17, 1.23 and 6.81 days to 2.85, 2.30, 2.75 and 13.85 days during the previous seasons, respectively.
2- Although hot season had insignificant effect on the adult longevity. Thus, the adult longevity ranged from 7.33 to 10.85 days during summer and autumn, respectively.
