Abstract
The present work was conducted to ascertain whether the ab-normalities in GSH status and lipid peroxidation process, which have been recognized to occur in diabetic mothers and their developing fetuses, are persistent in the delivered offspring. This study also, extends to explore the extent to which insulin treatment to the diabetic mothers can restore the brain abnormalities in the offspring. Particularly, it was referred to the examination of the brain of the offspring, scince the brain was considered to be one of the tissues susceptible to maternal diabetes.
