Abstract The present work was conducted to study the effectiveness of some biological agents to control chocolate spot disease caused by B. fabae & neck rot disease caused by B. allii and the results obtained can be summarized as follow :- 1- Treatments of faba bean and onion plants infected with B. fabae B. allii by different bioagents reduce disease severity and disease incidence . 2- The results of different studied factors in the field experiment showed that actionmycete isolate No . ( 21 ) and the filtrate of Pleurotus columbins were the best treatments , where highly significant in the reduction of disease severity ,disease incidence and the increasing in the yield and its components , this treatment followed by that of T. harzianum and benzothiadiazole ( BTH ) . 3- The values of studied factors between the plants treated by poly -phenol have no significant differences compared with control plants 4- The applications of bioagents stimulated plant growth , photosynthetic pigments , carbohydrate content and P & N contents . The effect of different treatments on quantitative change in peroxidase , catalase and phenolic compounds indicate the interference with / or inhibition of the pathogen by biocontrol treatments |
