المستخلص The purpose of the current study is to set an early intervention training program for children with autistic disorder , depending on the principles of applied behavior analysis ( ABA) .and to test the effectiveness of this program in improving the developmental level , and in decreasing the severity of the behavioral and emotional problems of these children . 10 children with autistic disorder divided into two equal groups :- the experimental and the control group , both groups are matched in age, severity of autistic disorder and developmental level , Their chronological age ranges from ( 2.11 : 6.1 ) years, the autistic disorder ranges from moderate to sever according to their scores on ( CARS) , and their developmental level ranges from (18) month to ( 32 ) month according to their scores on (PEP) . Materials :- - childhood autism rating scale ( CARS- R ) , Schopler ,Reichler ,and Renner , Tenth Edition , ( 2004) . - The psychoeducational profile - revised ( PEP-R) Schopler ,Reichler ,and Renner .( 1990). - Training Program for improving the functional areas of development for children with autistic disorder ( by the researcher ) . Results and discussion :- The results of the study revealed the effectiveness of the training psycho educational program in improving the developmental level as represented in the functional areas of (imitation , perception , fine motor , gross motor , eye –hand integration, cognitive performance , and verbal performance ) and decreasing the severity of patological behaviors |
