Abstract Recurrent pregnancy loss is one of the most distressing problems for both couples and clinicians, affecting about 2-5%of couples. It implies for incidences of two consecutive miscarriages without a pervious birth or three miscarriages whether or not interspersed with a term delivery of a healthy child. Many causes have been implicated; it is very common to find more than one factor in the same patient. The proposed causes for recurrent pregnancy loss can be summarized as: • Anatomic uterine which can be classified as congenital or acquired. • Infective agents. • Inherited thrombophilias. • Immunologic factors which include autoimmune& alloimmune factors. • Genetic factors. • Endocrine factors. • Oxidative stress. • Environmental & life style factors. |
