Abstract To evaluate two important conservative treatment methods in the stress urinary incontinence which are pelvic floor exercises and inter- ferential current therapy. Methods: this study was conducted at out patients clinics of urology, Gynecology, Neurology and rehabilitation department, Zagazig University Hospitals. A total Sample of 50 women have stress urinary incontinence. The sample were divided into 2 groups (A and B) by selection randomly according to the line of treatment. Tools of data collection were questionnaire sheet which filled by the researcher. Results: The study results revealed to the subjective evaluation. Which showed that 60% in group A and 92% in group B were cured. Regarding the palpation test patients in group B were significantly more likely to be cured 92% than those in group A 56%. On the other hand the results of provocation test in group B showed that 56% were cured and 44% in group A were cured. Conclusion : interferential therapy and pelvic floor exercises are effective conservative methods in. treatment of stress urinary incontinence. Pelvic floor exercises methods are more effective than the i nterfernti al therapy. |
