Abstract In Egypt, sheep and goats were considered one of the most important economic sources, where both of them give a large amount of meat, milk, wool and leather. Regardless of the causes of the disease which affect sheep and goats, reassemble the true factors for decrease these animals production, so the scientific researches began to give importunes to study the problems of goats to increase the animal production. Dehydration is one of the serious problems which affect goats, as a results of decrease the amount of water in the desert areas or due to loss of body fluids in association with diarhea. This work aimd to look for the clinical evidences, condequences and severity of loss of body water associated with diarrhea. To study the correlation between the clinical signs and the corresponding laboratory indices of the dehydrated goat, a trial to make an experimental model of dehydration in goats and studying the influence on body water and biochemical metabolites. |
