Abstract The thesis is devoted for developing new methods for the analysis of certain amino compounds, namely : piperazine, cimetidine ranitidine, nizatidine, tranylcypromine, cephalothin, cefazolin and cefamandole, either prse, in formulations or in biological fluid. The principles of the proposed procedures • as well as the experimental parameters were studied, discussed and explained. Furthermore, the data given were statistically analyzed and compared with those obtained by comparison methods or official ones The thesis is divided into seven parts Part I :This part provides a general introduction about amines, their nature and some of their general reactions Part II :In this part, the polarographic determination of dinitrosopiperazine(DNP) and mononitrosocimetidine (MNC) studied. This part includes an introduction about nitrosamines, their formation in simulated gastric juice and their relation with gastric cancer A well-defined, cathodic diffusion controlled wave is produced over the pH range from 1 - 1 0. These findings favour a quantitative estimation of these drugs by direct current (DCt) and differential pulse polarography (DPP) over the concentration range from 1.6- 80 ug/ml |
