Abstract This study was made for detection of mast cells in seminal fluid of patients with abnormal semen parameters for correlation of seminal mast cells and histamine to semen parameters, sex hormones, patient’s age and certain conditions with possible role in MC activation e.g. Varicocele. A significant increase of seminal mast cells was reported in all groups except for non obstructive azoospermia patients, while seminal histamine increased in all groups. Although, a positive correlation between seminal mast cells and histamine was reported, no correlation between age and patient’s age to seminal mast cells and histamine. |
