Abstract

the interpretation of the fall of man is closely related to the interest in maintaining the rights of women in modern society. we know that many objections have been raised againts the traditional interpretation that makes eve responsible for the fall of man. renaissance art frequently associates the temptation, the snake, and women with each other. many converntional people adopted this attitude.
