Abstract
Barium-vanadate glasses (containing different amounts of Fe2O3) with molar formula xFe2O3-(35-x)BaO-65V2O5, where x ranged from 0 to 12.5 with step of2.5 mole %, were prepared. The structure of these glasses was examined using X-Ray, IR and UV/VIS spectroscopy. In addition, the measurements of density, microhardness, electrical conductivity DC&AC and switching for the examined glasses were carried out.
