Abstract The present study was carried out on LW Identical edentulous Maxillary casts to study the effect of vacuum on dimensional changes and warpage of visible light—cured resin denture bases VLC resin denture bases divided into LI equal groups: Group 1. (10) bases processed following the manufacturer’s instruction. Group II,(1O) bases adapted under vacuum and cured following the manufacturer’s instruction. Group III.(l0) bases adapted by hand pressure only and cured under vacuum. Group IV, (10) bases adapted and cured under vacuum. Points of measurment the dimensional changes and -.arpaqe of the VLC denture base was marked on the master ::st. The dimensional changes and warpage of the denture se vas measured, by measurescope, after the processed VLC :-iture base was decasting from and replaced to the master :st respectively. result of this study revealed that: - )LC resin denture bases exhibit significant shrinkage either processed with or without vacuum. - daptation of VLC denture base under vacuum was significantly less shrinkage than hand pressure adaptatation. |
