Abstract
five cases of primary maiignant bOiF’. tumor were treated by rest:ction of the tumor andn:;C(llutruction of the defect in the pelvic region and the lower limb through the period from the beginning of 990 to the beginning of 1994, We classified the cases into 2 main groups: Group I : In ’which 45 cases managed in Frankfurt Hospital Group II: In which 20 cases managed in Maf!soura University The ungcst patient was 6 years o ld. The eldest patient was 79 years old. The mean age was 27.8 years old. Males represented (34 cases) and females represented (31 cases). 24 cases were osteosarcomo.. 23 cases were cho:ndrosareoma. 16 cases were wmgs sarcoma. 1 case was a amantll1oma. , case was hemangioendothelioma,18 cases were in the pelvis. 17 cases were in the proximal femur. 2 cases were in the middle third femur. 15 cases were in the lower third femur. 4 cases were in the upper third tibia. 3 cases were in the upper third fibula. 3 cases were in the middle third tibia. 1 case was in the lower third tibia. 2 cases were in the lower third fibula.
