Abstract

This work was carried out at a private vegetable field near el-mansoura (Mit-Romy Village Dikernes District). It aimed to study the effect of pruning and systems on growth, yied and its components of melon grown under plastic house conditions These experiments were carried out on cultivar Galia F1 hybrid in both years of 1989 and 1990. THe design used was a randomized complete blocks desig with four replications. the studied carachters were, light intensity, vegetative characters, fruiting and yield as wall as fruit characteristics.
