Abstract The present study revealed that the lifecycle of both mite species was negatively affected when fed on M. incognita eggmasses at the three tested temperature degrees . The acarid mite, Tyroglyphus sp .showed shorter lifecycle as compared with Tyrolichus sp. when fed on eggmasses of M. incognita. The female and male lifecycle of the former species durated for 13.4 and 12.7 or 8.22 and 8.61 or 6.08 and 5.61 days at 20,25 and 30 C respectively, whereas, the female and male of lifecycle Tyrolichus sp. required 21.90 and 20.30 or 14.10 and 13.73 8.3 and 8.10 days at the above mentioned temperature degrees respectively when fed on the eggmasses of M. incognita . The female preovipositon, generation followed the same trend .Hence, the female generation and postoviposition period of Tyrolichus sp. changed from 24.30 to 10.54 or 5.50 to 2.57 days at 20 and 30 C respectively . The acarid mite, Tyroglyphus sp. showed longer longevity than that of Tyrolichus sp. the adult female and male longevity changed from 27.85 and 14.71 to 17.44 and 9.33 at 20 and 30C . However, the adult female and male longevity of Tyrolichus sp. changed from 21.75 and 9.61 to 11.32 and 4.85 at the three mentioned temperature degrees respectively . However, the postoviposition periods of Tyroglyphus sp. changed from 7.35 to 9.20 days at the two mentioned temperature degrees . The acarid mite, Tyrolichus sp. showed longer lifespan as compared with Tyroglyphus sp the female and male lifespan fore former changed from 43.70 and 29.04 to 19.64 and 12.70 at 20, 25, 30 C respectively .whereas, the female and male lifespan for the latter changed from 41.17 and 27.0 to 17.44 and 9.33 at the two fore mentioned temperature degrees respectively . |
