Abstract

This study was carried out on 2 spescies of store­product insects which are Plodia interpunctella and Tribolium confusum. Their specimens were collected from crops stores and from flour mills of El­Mansoura city. The insects were identified and classified according to the classical taxonomical principles. They were reared under room conditions for live generations. Larval instars were determined by days To reveal the origin of wings, tangential sections were made in the prothorax of prepupa. The appendage of all srages wer separated and drown with camera lucida.
