Objective: To asses the association of antiBeta 2 glycoprotien 1 with atherosclerotic complications in SLE. Material and methods: 50 SLE female patients underwent Thorough history taking, thorough physical examination and investigations including both routine and special investigations (estimation of antiBeta 2 glycoprotien 1serum level and carotid dopplar ultrasonography). Results: Significant difference in SLE patients with cardiovascular diseases than in SLE patients without cardiovascular diseases regarding antiBeta 2 glycoprotien 1serum levelintimal medial thicknes and carotid plaques detected by carotid dopplar ultrasonography Conclusion and Recommendation: We identified some non traditional predictors of SLE several questions need further investigations to understood this problem preciously. |
