Abstract This study was formed in order to compare the effect of an early loading versus delayed loading on osseointegration of immediate implants used for single tooth replacement. Twenty patients seeking replacement of their single missing tooth in the intraforminal region were include within this study. Patients were divided into three main groups. from the results of this study. It could be concluded that : 1 Immediate implant which exposed to delayed functional loading after three months at least can exhibit a clinical and radiographic features of success similar to those obtained from a classical delayed type of implant which inserted into healed edentulous area within the intraforminal region. 2 Early functional loading (after two months) can lead to a deleterious clinical and radiographic effects when it is directed on immediate implant in comparison with immediate implant subjected to delayed functional loading. |
