Abstract This study aiming to evaluate the fracture resistance of teeth restored with packable resins composites with and without flowable liner. Also Clinical evaluation of retention, color matching, marginal discoloration, recurrent caries, marginal adaptation and postoperative sensitivity of teeth restored with two different type of posterior packable resins composites with and without flowable liner after 2,4 and 6 months. Two types of packable resin composite were used in this study, Heliomolar HB and Tetric Ceram HB with Tetric Flow. Pekalite resin composite was used as a control group. Clinically the retention, color matching, marginal discoloration, recurrent caries, marginal adaptation and post operative sensitivity were evaluated. A 16 orthodontic patients were selected and MOD cavity were prepared in maxillary premolar and patient were divided into 4 groups, 4 patients of each . The patient were recalled for examination according to Cvar/Ryge after 2, 4 and 6 months. After 6 months selective extraction of teeth was done and teeth were examined by SEM to determined the maginal seal of each group. Results of this study indicated that the used of packable resin composite Heliomolar HB and Tetric Ceram HB with and without flowable liner were improved the fracture resistance of teeth and also improvd retention, marginal discoloration, recurrent caries, marginal adaptation and post operative sensitivity. Moreover, the Tetric Ceram HB with and without flowable liner improved the color match than Heliomolar HB with and without flowable liner. |
