Abstract The studies concerning excavating would allow us to operate them in a planned way of suitable optimum system using computer model. During the study many engineering parameters were delt with such as power(Hp), capacity of bucket(m3), performance (m3/h) in drainage and irrigation channel (meter length) case: <U+2022> Also many variables were taken into consideration as : type of soil in north, middle and south of delta. The condition of excavator were new, consumed, old and, hours powers were go 90, 85, 75, 62 and 42 hp costs also were fixed and variable costs. <U+2022> The main mods of performance namely reformation and construction in clay and sandy soil in both irrigation and drainage. The computer model which used for selecting the suitable excavator machine based on optimum performance and minimum cost, the two subroutines of the computer model included the following items : Excavator perfance and cost analysis. The Results : 1 The limitation of working hours for any excavators are 800 hours per year to be avoidant losses. 2 we can determine the excavator power which is considered suitable for the optimum systems in 85 Hp. 3 The minimum costs at 19500 working hours (1115) years. |
