Abstract In the field of biofertilization all research workers always put an emphasis on the reduction of addition of chemical fertilizers to soils ; this being in the most cases achieved by inoculation of microorganisms like nitrogen fixing blue-green algae to increase the soil fertility. The present piece of work was carried out with the aim of adding fruitful in formation in the field of biofertilization and the resuits obtained can be summarized as follows : 1 - Thirteen species of N2 - fixing blue-green algae were isolated from rice from soil and according to preliminary experiments, the following six species of the isolated algae were chosen : Anabaena oryzae, Calothrix marchica, Cylindrospermum muscicola, Nostoc rivulare, Nostoc muscorum, Tolypothrix bouteillei. |
